• Do check your site for broken links - Before uploading your site to your web server, make sure that there are no broken links within your site.

• Don't use dark backgrounds -. It makes your content less readable, as much as possible avoid using dark colors for your background. You may use dark colors if you are going to use non serif fonts and make sure not to use small size fonts.
