AVG is pretty good but again I havent used avast.
I currently use Norton System Works Professional 2007 although I find it to be over loaded...

Coz I can't find a anti-spyware that fits the virus scanner. My computer sucks if the 2 are scanning at the same time.

you can also try spyware doctor you can download it from the google pack.
it finds and removes adware spyware trojons and a couple others. if you have trouble with computer when running two different virus programs try pausing one while the other runs when first one is done resume the second one.
