eBay Purchases Stumbleupon for $75 Million!

Latest SEO News has reported that the acquisition of StumbleUpon by eBay has been completed and it took $75 millions for the shopping, payment services and online auction company to purchase StumbleUpon.

The senior director of eBay, Mr. Michael Buhr sounded extremely happy when he talked about the acquisition. He described StumbleUpon as a great addition to eBay family as he feels that the purpose of both sides is similar and they together can work on building new communities.

The current founders of StumbleUpon and the management team will remain in their current position. But they have to work with Mr. Michael Buhr from eBay. This acquisition has been rumored since November and few days back StumbleUpon confirmed it on their blog:
