Whats the exact name of the template causing the error?
Also did you check to make sure all files where uploaded correctly and in the right spot?

Shawn,
You're too quick for me. Yes, that is the template I am talking about.
"Also did you check to make sure all files where uploaded correctly and in the right spot?"
I can see the XML file; but previously all I have had to do was download the zip file for the new template I wish to instal, click "Upload & Instal" and Joomla Template installer did the rest.
Not sure what I have to do now to instal this template.
Regards
Michael

Hello Micheal,
Well I would suggest a manuall install of the Joomla template to see if its an error on your site or configuration.
Try the following to install a Joomla Template Manually
Unzip the joomla template file on your computer.
Use your FTP client to upload the unzipped Joomla Template
With your FTP client find the "Templates" folder in the root of your web server and upload the unzipped joomla template directory to this folder.
The structure should look like this:
/templates/roundedcorners/index.php
Log on your Joomla administration section.
Go to Site -> Template Manager -> Site Templates
Select your new template from the list and click publish it.
Go to Site -> Preview -> In a new window
Give that a try!

Shawn,
Thanks for this.
Have now manually installed via FTP, but Joomla does not recognise the new template.
Spoke to a mate who knows about such things, and he said this is because when using the automatic template upload function within Joomla, it adds code which allows the new template to be recognised.
Manually uploading a template means this code is not added.
I will chat with him later to find out what I have to do next to successfully instal this new template.
