I have to design an ebook cover for my first ebook. Do you have any suggestions? I don't have a license for Photoshop, so I can't use any tutorials.

Do you have any photo editing software installed on your computer other then Adobe Photoshop?

Does it matter what image format is used for the image and what are the desired demensions needed?

GIF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, WMF, PCX etc...

Well Mary there are some free alternatives you can try, one that comes to mind is Gimp, its a free Image Editing Software, its fairly easy to use and did I mention its free??
