I'm sure I am not in right 'pew' writing this here, but I have tried several times to contact thru e-mail and it keeps saying there is an error...try back later.
I want to respond to the comments I found on line about DK Enterpises, Thornton CO being less than a stellar company. Sadly, we have found out the hard way...an profoundly frustrating and disappointing experience. We are in his neighborhood and thought it would be nice to use somone locally to set up a website (a long time dream for our art/mural business).
We were initially impressed with Dave's knowledge and apparent expertise. He did a preflight planner and seemed pretty on top of things. However, when the opening page samples came and I requested some changes in color, things began to go South. Practically all communication stopped. We initially started our dealings with him in September and just now received the final product in April. Because of the time involved, I have since had to find part time work.
We let Dave know, up front, that we were in computer kindergarten and wanted something easy to maintain and edit. We needed and asked for his counsel when wanting to make these changes; we didn't want to be bothersome or make things difficult. We never heard back, and when we did, it was sporadically. The most frustrating thing about the whole process was the lack of communication. Because he never consulted us when loading the galleries, we have had to buy an additional program in order to edit our site. Not something easy for computer dummies to do. A simple phone call or meeting would have resolved this situation, and we think it was pretty presumptive on his part.
The website quality is what I would just call "OK". It’s nothing to write home about. If I would have known the time, trouble, and money involved I would have NEVER used DK Enterprises. I have discovered denverartists, a FREE website where artists are encouraged to post their work and EDIT it in a very simple, easy manner. Too bad we found it after we started dealing with DK Enterprises. We have paid 50% in advance, but are going to wait and see how our complaints are handled before sending the balance. We have saved ALL e-mail correspondence.

The company in question is not a very reputable one; they have been reported numerous
times about template design rip-offs...
I also took the time to review your website at your request, and see the frustration your facing..
Keep us posted on how you make out with Dave' at D.K Enterprises.
Special note: When ever you feel you’re not being heard by the web designer you hired to do a job, get out and start researching other reputable companies - before its too late. This is how many get scammed.
After all, your paying for a service that you should be totally satisfied with, and until then the job is not complete until you the client says so.
