MyWebSearch Spyware!
Below are step by step instructions on how to remove this piece of spyware known as "MyWebSearch, FunWebProducts, My Web Search, My Way Speedbar" from your computer.
These products are spyware and can create all kinds of confusion and weird behavior from your computer. Some of the symptoms are pop-ups, slow computer, spyware, new network detections and even viruses.
An important point to remember when removing MyWebSearch is to delete all its counter parts that are associated with MyWebSearch.
This is very important as MyWebSearch will rebuild itself and will result in further spreading of the spyware within your computer hard drive and programs, like IE, Outlook and Microsoft Outlook products.
MyWebSearch Homepage Description - but very deceiving
My Web Search is a web browser toolbar with specialized search functions and a pop-up blocker. When processing your search query, My Web Search sends a request to their servers that include your keyword query, time of day, your browser type, default language setting, your IP address, an anonymous unique ID, and a code which identifies the distribution source of your My Web Search application.
Now the MyWebSearch Removal Instructions
Most of the program can be remove by clicking on
Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs.
Then find from the list of installed programs and aps installed on your computer find the one that says "My Web Search" and click on Change/Remove to uninstall it.
You may also want to uninstall any of the following items associated with this nasty piece of spyware.

My Way Speedbar (Smiley Central or other FWP as applicable)
My Way Speedbar (AOL and Yahoo Messengers) (beta users only)

Note: This next process is difficult and is not recommend unless you are confident with editing the registry. This process requires you to access and edit sensitive files in the computer registry of your machine and run the risk of totally destroying your computer if you’re not careful and remove the wrong registry key.
So be sure that you navigate and find the exact registry key before removing it and it’s also advised to do a full backup of your registry just in case you do make a mistake.
To backup your registry do the following:
Go to -> Start -> Run -> Type Regedit and hit OK.
Next Select File -> Export and save the registry files in a safe place!
To clean up the registry, delete the following entry and value
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\MyWebSearch Email Plugin.
Now Reboot your Computer.
Next, open My Computer, Drive C, and double-click on the Program Files folder
Right-click and delete the folders for:
FunWebProducts
MyWebSearch
MyWebSearch should now be completely uninstalled from your computer.
