How we rate and review our listed products
Each author/reviewer that takes the time to do software and product review's should attempt to list the below credentials!
Each product and software review works on a numerical rating system, which allows each visitor-member and author to give the product or the reviewer a rating threw 1-5.
Five being excellent to a one being a product so extremely poor we can't find any redeeming qualities to recommend it to our visitors and members.
Invision-Graphics reviewers will evaluate products or software based on the following criteria:
|
Initial installation and setup procedures
How easy or difficult was it to install or understand each screen settings and configurations?
|
How easy was the configuration and setup
How easy was it to configure or re-configure the software or product? Was the GUI interface easy to understand and control? If the product has firmware upgrades do you need to un-install or re-install the product or was it a seamless transference?
|
Product Documentation
The software documentation should be clear and easy to understand, the best perspective is to evaluate all software documentation as a novelist user! Provided it's written or electronic format? Extra points should be rewarded for quick-tips at the first startup of any given product that outlines what the product is and does in conjunction to its programming.
|
Product Integration
Reviewers need to do basic integration testing, how complaint is the software with other current operating systems, how did the operating system handle was there any lag or loss of performance.
|
Performance
Reviewers will list the software's pros and cons! Was it a resource hog how much disk space was required and how much memory cache does the software use when in operation.
|
Price and Value
Reviewers should do product comparisons with other popular or similar products in the same price and category, especially paying close attention to the features provided and their performance ratings.
