Invision-Graphics Top-Site Rules |
1.) CHEATING: Any kind of cheating is not tolerated and against the rules. Anyone caught fraudulently generating votes, will be removed and not permitted to take part in the Top sites. Most ways of cheating though are taking care of by the double click-through system and the users IP is logged with each vote.
2.) Graphic Design and Web Developers: Only Web developer related sites are allowed on the top list. This includes the following:
• Web Design Sites
• Webmaster Resources
• Web hosting
• Website Marketing
• Website Programming
• Graphic Design
• Online Tool Sites
• Webmaster Articles
• Webmaster Tutorials
• Webmaster Blogs
3.) TOP SITES: No Top sites pages are allowed to join. (The whole purpose of a Top Webmaster site is to link to Webmaster sites and not to other Top sites!)
4.) MISLEADING VISITORS: You may only link to the Invision-Graphics Top Sites, with the Graphics and Text links that is provided by the system, this is to prevent misleading people where they will go after clicking the text link or button for your site.
Links saying *ENTER HERE* or anything similar are absolutely unacceptable. In addition we do not allow misleading links to any other website, sites caught masking or hiding links will be removed.
5.) NAME & DESCRIPTION: The name that you enter when joining and that appears on the list has to be the actual name of your site. The description may only contain information that is related to Webmasters or Web design.
6.) Site Descriptions: Instead of listing every little detail of your site here, it's best to list your keywords or main description of your site.
Invision-Graphics goal, is to give visitors easy access to surfer friendly Web designers and Webmaster sites that offer valuable information and resources. Any sites that make it hard for people to get to the content or don't have any content will be deleted and will not be permitted to participate!
Invision-Graphics reserves the right to refuse a site with no reason given, reserves the right to remove sites without notification.
How Votes are counted and generated!
• Site with the highest Votes In + Votes Out count will be ranked number #1
• Rating is determined by the sum of all rates divided by the sum of Votes In
• If a Site is suspected of cheating, the statistics of this Site will be reset
• The Top Site ranked one button is displayed on the side of the site
• Votes are totaled up automatically every day
• In this 30 days time period, your vote will only be counted ONCE per Site you vote on.
