Reasons a site may be disqualified
|
If your website has any of the following it will be automatically
disqualified without notice. So be sure to review the list of reasons why a
website may be disqualified and if you have any questions before filling out
the award application form contact us for clarification. |

Promotes
hate, violence, racism, discrimination of any kind, adult content, vulgar or
obscene humor, propaganda, warez, gambling, hacking activities, degradation,
harm, slander, cult activity.
|
Distributes illegal content such as cracks, warez, illegal mp3 and other
related programs. |
Link farms are not permitted. If your website contains nothing but
banner-exchange, links and ads, your site will not be reviewed. |
All images, awards, banners must be uploaded to your own website and not
be stealing someone else's bandwidth. Exceptions are the following (ImageShack, Photobucket,
or any other 3rd party image hosting service.) |
There must not be any lower scrollbars for any resolution 800x600 and up. A well-built website
fits all screen resolutions and doesn't inconvenience the user by having a scrollbar at the bottom of the page in
order to view the content. |
Copyright Statement, Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. All websites should
have these legal documents in place explaining privacy policies of the
website and a disclaimer of use. The copyright statement should be clear who
holds the copyright and gives credit where credit is due. |
Excessive use of scripts that cause visitors browser to crash. If your
website uses allot of java scripts that make the browser freeze and
crash, or traps the user from using their back button on their browser - your site will be disqualified.

Excessive use of java scripts, graphics, flash or any other miscellaneous effects
on one page will result in your website being disqualified.
|
Sites that are not permitted and will not be reviewed are MSN,
Geocities, MySpace. If your website is part of any network type community or
group - your site will not be evaluated. |
Websites that fail the W3C validation test with an excessive amount of
errors, would
automatically disqualify, so be sure to test your website before applying.

We
do not accept multiple submissions for the same URL.
|
We
do not accept sites that contain browser traps that prevent the user from
using their back button. |
We
do not accept sites that use pre-designed templates and not your original
work. |
We
do not accept sites that require a password to view all pages. |
We
do not accept sites that require visitors to download programs or plug-ins
to view the web site.

We
do not accept sites that are "Under Construction," or "Under Maintenance,"
on any webpage's. All visible webpage's should be functional and if not
should be hidden from public view. |
We
do not accept sites that fail to display the awards they've won and with a
proper link back to the source. |
We
do not accept sites that are pointer pages or use redirects. |
We
do not accept sites with Forums, Message Boards or Tag Boards, that are not
moderated.

We
do not accept sites that use multiple popup ads per page.
|
We
do not accept websites that uses affiliate advertising links or pay per
click links through out their entire site. |
We reserve the right to withdraw any awarded website that breaks the
award program rules and terms. |
